Around 2018, KAI having coal rights in QLD and gold in the Pilbara, took a 8.6% interest in NAE's coal? and put their people on the board, took out tenements around KAI exploration which was for gold and took over some Monterey Minerals tenements deciding not to take up the Tabba-Tabba area.
By 2021, they extended tenements in the Quartz Hill going into the Aboriginal Managed Reserve.
They have done work in Otago (mainly alluvial 8M oz of which only 1 oz in 24 oz was reef gold) drilling the OPQ reef line this last year.
