Always best to avoid. But there are always engineering solutions to an impact (or risk of) to a gas line. Generally speaking, worst case is a relocation of the asset, whether that's around the area or deeper. More likely is some form of protection - concrete slab or the like.
It's likely to only be a question of money, and in the scheme of $800 million, we're talking less than 1%.
