You could help yourself and read what the Capex in the DFS was.
To save you and readers the trouble is was CAD$375M and that was +/- 20%
Given the cost escalations lets go with +20% making it CAD$450M
SYA share is 75% ... happy to call it ~CAD$335M or approx AUD$370M

And according to Dougal's interview, about $100M spent on acquiring NAL and $100M spent upgrading ... so $200M of which $150M is SYA's contribution.

Before this capital raise ... go back and add up approximately what was allocated to NAL in the "Use of Funds" in prior Capital Raises (excluded the Canadian FTS raise). I make it about AUD$170M ... so after taking off $150M, you have $20M of the capital raised for NAL left to spend.

So SYA needed to raise further cash, BECAUSE AS STATED IN THE DFS, that Capex of CAD$375M EXCLUDES the $200M total spent so far.

And because most here will doubt that ... here it is



This raise says AUD$65M for Abitibi and AUD$90M for "Working Capital" and you need to read notes /1/ and /2/. I appled 80% of Abitibi and 50% of Working Capital as needed for NAL coming up with ~AUD$100M. I add that to the remaining $20M to get ~$120M. If accurate, that still leaves about AUD$250M (to get to AUD$370M) of additional capital to fund SYA's share for NAL per the DFS.

What else could they need - right. Well they did explain that in the DFS ... if you read it.

Y'all wonder what the shorts are doing. I think they are number crunching - and their numbers are probably a little more "robust" than what I'm writing here. But you can choose to engage your brain and grind some gears. I did when this Cap Raising was released and have done further review. I've maintained a "hold" sentiment, others choose to drink the cool-aid and accumulate more.
