NAME: BRL: Proposed Change of Name for Bathurst Resources

Proposed change of name of Bathurst Resources (New Zealand) Limited

Bathurst Resources (New Zealand) Limited (NZX/ASX: BRL) (Bathurst) is
proposing to change its company name to 'Bathurst Resources Limited'.  It is
expected that the name change will occur on 18 December 2013. The change of
name will become effective for ASX purposes two to three business days after
that date.

The code for Bathurst's shares on the NZX and ASX will not change and will
remain 'BRL'.

Bathurst will make a further announcement once the change of name has been
put into effect.
