I would have loved to see them pull the trigger, but the positive spin would be tullow likes what is sees on the 3d and want to acquire adjacent blocks. They want basins, not just a block or two. The atlantic margin is a key focus for the conpany, and Namibia survived the cull to be one of the investments it was willing to spend its 200m drilling budget on. That was at the time of release of the annual report and oil has trended up since then.
I think they drill this next year, as the company is an explorer, but they may seek to renegotate our stake size. If Tullow sells any assets ahead that would be a good sign.
