FYI - The 'subject to meeting requirements' refers to fulfilling the obligations of the exploration period/s in question. In our current period, it means PCL need to fulfil the outstanding 3d seismic obligation.

Note that the comment that says there are 3 x two year further extensions goes against the Petroleum Act. I believe this is incorrect. The Act governs that there are only three exploration periods; a 4 year Initial Exploration period, followed by a two-year First Extension Period, followed by a two-year Second Extension Period. Each of these three periods can be extended by one year each at the Minister's discretion. There is a special case for an extension that is given due to Vis Major (Force Majeure). This is our last hope in my opinion. I would hope that they have tried it.

Well we have 0% chance of fulfilling the obligation to do a 3D by Jan 2023. We wouldn’t even be able to get the data processed in that time. What a shame management has dropped the ball so badly. They should’ve increased the recent CR to fund the 3D themselves rather than just dragging on this slow bleed to an inevitable risk of losing the licence.
