I will give you one thing, you often say what needs to be said - but I saw plenty of people saying Cargill was paying plenty for AWB when they bought it , not allowing the great synergies they extracted, plus the kudos they got and the great brand name -Brand name and kudos not as strong here, but like most rural enterprises of scale, when you have good year you have a good one
Cargill likely made $1 billion from AWB in previous 15 months leading up to early this year, which is a lot more than they paid
Similarly, form a cash generation point of view here they could make near their purchase price in a little over one year, if it's a good one!
