    Without a superior offer LDC is discovering the market value. If post-purchase they can extract book value or more from the assets then those are their spoils.

    Also you'd probably have to halve the NTA if NAM was truly going to liquidate. But on the other hand the $0.71 figure is a bit higher now, but even if it's $0.80 that takes liquidation value down to $0.40.

    I get what you mean but without another offer...
