I'd just like to add a note to that seaman91 is that an Electric Vehicles require 4X the amount of copper per car than a standard ICE car. EV car sales accounts for 2.3% of all new cars sold in the US so proportionally the copper use is up by nearly 10% just on that alone.
Tesla and others need to build and expand the charging network on top of that which also requires a huge amount of copper. Tesla sales ever increasing
