Always pays to analyse the holdings in any LIC whenever you can.
NSC are also a bit naughty in this respect as they refuse disclose what their actual holdings are per LIC.
The simple fact is that they've underperformed vs other SME investments, so you'd most likely do better yourself without paying them fees.
