Sometimes they do, sometimes they don't. Sometimes they do after 10 years and a couple of relistings.

If its just a technical trade and you have loads on your watch list then sure, don't buy unless it meets your triggers. But the one thing that I've learnt about the market is it offers more opportunities to be wrong than right, and getting it right is usually a matter of recognising when to believe in principles, and when to break principles.
