sound strategy but I don't think it can work in mining. (has it ever?) venture capital required is too large. red tape is too much. capital expense to justify fid is too big. you need scale in a bfs to make it profitable. so it gets publically listed to unlock institutional and private investors who don't have access to private companies imo.
