The National Heritage Listing will apply to Northern Manganese, BHP and any other mining company who have elo's within the boundaries of the National Heritage listing.
All mining companies are treated the same the elders do not want their waters mined. Also remembering the traditional elders have never signed off to allow BHP to mine their island other people have always done it - for example the first time was the missionarys.
Myself and the shovel nose shark have nothing to do with GEMCO - hard as it is for you to believe, not everyone that lives on the island is a miner.
