Companies don't need to announce insignificant or less significant contract wins - because if they do, then your assumption is that the company has not got any contracts in between times when there wasn't any announcements (because they would announce it otherwise). It also means that any previous announced collaborations could also have 'died' in their tracks.
In the early days of investing in YOJ, I was usually apprehensive about the announcements they make and the implicit meaning you could infer. And I was of the view that the less they announce (unless it is a Scharff type deal) , the better it would be at the time when exuberance was there. But now exuberance has gone, people need the boost from announcements and people would always buy into it (and usually poorly timed).
