You may be wondering about the effect of any loss on GNS' P&L Zwu? If not - I was!

If there is a $12.5 million loss on book value of $40 million then I believe this would likely be written off against the Asset Revaluation Reserve and not impact the P&L. I cross checked this against the standards and GNS' last Annual Report.

Accountants more practised than me might like to comment.
