My read is NATO will purchase from Droneshield then they will lease them out to all members (than can also buy straight up if they want, it's in the NATO sales book with a number) They can test it with product support. Then order however many they want.

As for the 3year lease? it's probably a minimum lease is 3 years of set monthly lease payments,
Members have to decide to either buy now? Or lease then pay up full price later so more expensive. (possibly if in 3 months of their testing they decide they want to buy now, the lease can be terminated at no cost on the buy date. (This is purely a guess though)

For testing maybe NATO only need a few hundred? (at 40k each I think), so 4-8 million only.

Key point for me is, is NATO buying right now?
If it's just members when they want them, then there is not a great deal of urgency anyway.

Ukraine would have to be a government purchase asap, so separate to this as snowstorm said.

I don't really know except to say it is intriguing and adds impetus to DRO and hopefully SP.
