It confirms that the French are arrogant and only react when the barbarians are at the gates.
That said it would be terrible optics if the Paris Olympics were a reprise of the 1972 Summer Olympics in Munich, In France it is all about appearance, not reality. For that reason la Préfecture de Police de Paris will be equipped a full complement of DRO equipment.
The 2024 European Parliament elections in France, as well as the rest of the EU, are on June 8-9, 2024. A successful terrorist attack less than a month earlier would guarantee victories by right ring anti-immigrant parties in France, Germany, the Netherlands and other EU countries..
