Importantly, the area represents just 2% of the 50 square kilometre gold-in-soil anomalism defined across the broader Boungou Project area.
Average drill intersection from drilling to date within the Natougou deposit is 6 metres at 4.06 grams per tonne gold with a peak result of 4 metres at 17.2g/t gold from 72 metres.
Gold mineralisation remains open at the limit of current drilling providing significant potential to expand the footprint of the deposit through further "step-out" drilling, which is currently underway.
Orbis is funded to continue operations in the near term with cash in hand of $17.1 million as of 31 December 2012.
