Sure short term pain, but why be writing down the investment in plant and equipment because of a temp dip in the market? Doesn't make any sense as in terms of its lifetime it's only just been commissioned. Perhaps the new CFO is a "plant" for a larger "investor", orchestrating SYR affairs ultimately leading to further value loss to the existing shareholder base-
