So no extension to the retail entitlement issue so investors now have to decide if and how much to invest, keeping in mind that the share did trade at 18.5c today and it will be close to two weeks from the time of doing the Bpay to when the shares are allotted and credited to Chess holdings.
Did the 'in the know' investors who forced this from 16c to 26c over the last month expect a transaction today and will they be willing to hang around for another 60 days?
What will the market judge as an appropriate Market Cap for just the Century operation?
I wonder if IGO played a significant role in delaying the transaction for 60 days. What card will they play next? Are they just in it for an offtake agreement or do they want a sizeable stake in a JV or do they want it all through a takeover offer? Should we invest more money on this speculation alone?
