Potential transactions like this don’t come up everyday so I can see why NCZ have jumped at it.
The new approach looks logical but will come with (more) serious time and money. Given this required spend, process issues, risk and current nickel market I can’t see this transaction having a material front ended payment to Vale. More likely back ended with future royalties and nickel price and or production milestone payments.
Anyone know how well their relationship is going with locals and government?
