Thought this was a strange move considering IGOs leverage to gold and battery metals however looking at what they paid (tiny given company size and cash flow) and % received looks logical. The zinc market is not at all sexy and neither is a crap tailings dam but a massive concentrator surrounding exploration land within trucking distance is exciting. Also zinc T&C probably couldn’t get any worse than last qtr.
Posted a few weeks back IGO should be swinging in this period with relatively short mine life and good cash flow so well done.
