With 2 years on the NDA, I imagine they'll be getting the ball rolling fairly soon, plus they mention Kelley group as "reputable", I guess we'll find out over the next year or 2!

Vortex Pipes (ASX: VTX) has signed a Non-Disclosure Agreement with The Kelley Group, an engineering firm based in the United States.

The NDA is in relation to confidential information about the Vortex's ShieldLiner pipe repair technology and its potential distribution into the U.S. markets.

The agreement remains in place for a two year period, beginning the date of execution.

Under the agreement, The Kelley Group is prohibited from working with competing trenchless pipeline technology companies for the duration of the two year period.

The signing of an agreement with a reputable party is a milestone event for Vortex, and further validates the potential of Vortex's trenchless pipeline rehabilitation technology.

Vortex's ShieldLiner technology involves application of a new thin liner to the pipe's interior, utilising pressure to impregnate structural resins through the new thin liner and the existing damaged pipe line, without any excavation required.

The finished rehabilitated pipe is ideal for high pressure pipelines in the water, oil and gas industries.

The Kelley Group invests strategically in technology businesses, assisting commercialisation through strategic partnerships or merger and acquisition opportunities.
