If people think that the offer isn't representing what the company is worth then they should also feel safe in thinking that another suitor will appear and bid. If it's a steal, surely someone else will bid. If it's par value considering ALL circumstances, not just the resource size, then there won't be other bidders. If you're confident that 50c is far too low, put your cue in the rack and wait for the counter to materialise.
