Well it's interesting that as you may recall, I sent an email to Tim Cook recently regarding their imagery in Apple Maps and showed a comparison to Nearmap.
It is known that customers that email Tim Coopl often have their complaints/suggestions taken on board promptly.
Have a look look at the Apple Maps imagery at the spaceship campus now. It has very recent imagery with 3d modelling, even showing the crane's in 3D. They must have got it flown by request.
Although they hey didn't use Nearmaps, this is positive because:
- Tim Cook must now know about Nearmap
- it shows Tim Cool cares about imagery recency and quality.
