Hey everyone, you could consider Aerometrex (AMX). My hope is that they are able to be the Apple to NEA's Microsoft (not the Virgin Airlines Australia to the NEA Qantas) . AMX is still aussie and I really hope they cut into NEA's business and bring in competition, cause the aerial photo product they both sell is really important for the society and should not be something sold at 900% mark up on operating cost. I've been a heavy user of Nearmap in the past and enquired about the cost of it as a small time consultant. Extremely expensive. This takeover is opportunistic. Wish it hadn't happened. Just glad I sold most of my NEA years ago at above $2, which implies the true value now, with much greater revenue and NA being basically profitable, ought be $4 to $10. Very sad. I'll vote no with what holdings I have, on principle. And double down on AMX again.
