Sadly yes - it's these sorts of deals that demonstrate why Australia doesn't hang onto most of the world leading tech that does often get developed here - our capital markets are too immature (too many savage shorters and not enough confident long holders), and boards / management and so on just don't have the where-with-all to drive this stuff into a global behemoth of a business in the long term.
