On a positive note, this continuous beating down of the company on positive news means that there is a large amount of attention on it. If Nearmap was not a genuine threat to other players, this latest action would not have been taken by EagleView. I have a feeling that the big players have not yet finished accumulating, and larger shorters have not yet finished exiting, hence the repeated attacks.
Once this stock is left to run on its own, the real value will be seen.
