Well if as you suggest EV are nipping around the edges patent wise hoping to trip NEA up and/ or cause reputational damage perhaps NEA could retaliate and do the same. Remembering NEA's aborted challenge on Spookfish's camera technology which EV bought by taking over Spookfish perhaps this could be reactivated in the US and cause EV serious damage. I can only assume NEA believed the case had merit but backed off because they had better things to do and they were canning Spookfish in Australia anyway.
