    The camera poses aren't calculated by Nearmap. The camera poses are first "defined" by RTK/PPK GPS + IMU data in the aircraft.

    They are then refined by an aerotriangulation process .. but this is computed by (probably) Bentley ContextCapture. They may use Agisoft Metashape. I have heard others in the space using Metashape for the camera pose calcs. Either way, it is done by, out of the box, 3rd party software.

    The meshes are then computed using SfM algorithm. Again 3rd party software.

    Finally .. measurements can be made from mesh. The UX for this is on Nearmap.

    If anyone is infringing on IP around an aerotriangulation algorithm - it ain't Nearmap, rather the 3rd party software providers.

    If measuring is done from images that have pre-computed poses .. see trig as previous discussed.

    Either way, seems straight forward to me.
