Nearmap today said it is defending the claim brought by Eagleview, which has not specified damages sought. "The greater risk in our eyes is how this may leak into other segments," wrote analyst Garry Sherriff, speculating that federal agencies may be reluctant to do business even though the relevant segment accounts for less than 5 per cent of Nearmap's annualised contract value.

Nearmap asserts the allegations are without merit.
