It did require some deep thought- sitting on a rock overlooking the wilderness and such... but have concluded that it best to vote NO. In all honesty, I may think differently if the bid is increased to something that I determine fair value. Currently- the offer is below what I would accept given the future potential, growth profile and current technology.
It's a predatory bid at the moment (2.10).
Nearmap is a great Aussie success story, I should know as I have an average price in the single digits and have seen the story unfold. I think I can wait another 5-10 years on this one.
So..... for our 1.9M shares- it's a NO.
