Why sell today.... because of circumtances. need, opportunity and timeline..... Also have to factor in that every investor is looking at the share cycle "at the moment" differently... Tax, buy a house, need to retire etc

For example I have money in VML and have a buy sentiment, but I recently sold a fair bit and moved it all to INR when it hit 30c three days later it is 39c.

Of course if I had endless amount of cash on the side, I can just hold everything, but that is rarely the case of any investor.

Often times share price movements in a hot small sector like junior miners SP has very little to do with quality or stability but more where the investor can get a faster return.

Say for example

VML in 2021 June is 6c and if the investor is forecasting Jan22 9c, Jun 23 12c..... Jan 23 18c...... Jan 2025 24c
XYZ in 2001 june is 15c and if the investor is forecasting Jan22 30c, Jun 23 35c..... Jan 23 40c...... Jan 2025 40c

You could move from one holding to other than back again can be profitable.
