is pleased to announce that Alexium is in current nego,a,ons with one of the larger commission finishers in the United States to deliver produc4on-scale quan**es of our Alexiflam™ Fire Retardant (FR) for scale up produc,on work on FR finishes. This poten&al customer has mul,ple finishing facili*es in the US and provides finishing treatments including FR to fabric producers in markets from transporta2on, construc2on, and medical to apparel, military and home furnishings. Alexium is currently nego%a%ng a one-year exclusive license for the use of Alexiflam™ in commission finishing of decora)ve fabrics for the home furnishings sector, which may include co-branding and set price points. Co-branding would greatly increase Alexium’s brand recogni5on and exposure in decora5ve fabrics for suppliers and home furnishings for end users whilst assis3ng brand recogni3on into the transporta3on, contract, military and other adjacent markets. This adds to our Co-branding strategy with another poten&al customer in the outdoor tent market in the US and Asia and with iTex0les for work wear in Europe. Alexium hopes to complete nego-a-ons in the near term and to be in a posi-on to name the new client publicly following the signing of the license agreement. FR formula+on sales solely for decora've fabrics in the US alone is part of the larger FR tex/les market, current es)mated to be in excess of US$100 Million.
