The investment vehicles of rich-listers Alex Waislitz and the Gandel family have bought into 12-year-old venue management software company Ivvy in a $7 million pre-IPO funding round to support its expansion throughout Europe and the US.Ivvy CEO Lauren Hall will be one of very few female CEOs of listed technology companies in Australia when the company goes public in the next 12 months. Ms Hall, a serial entrepreneur who migrated from South Africa to Australia in 2008, has previously run her own advertising and digital media company, as well as an events procurements and costs management platform called Mamba Online Event Solutions before starting Ivvy.
