I doubt it, I suspect that someone has done the numbers on yield and wanted a position or they saw London City as potentially driving the SP up.
At $1.50 a share the yield is 4.00% paid biannually and based on the performance of the business there is upside to the dividend in that the board has stated 60% payout and based on last years result they could potentially pay a $0.08/share dividend taking the yield to 5.33% and potentially higher if another buyback occurs.
