It's worth reiterating here that while the fees for both LICs look high, they are contingent on "highwater mark" provisions (aye aye, sailor), which means they only take effect if the NTA goes beyond its previous high point. Given the sideways movements that many other LICs are prone to at times, I find this very attractive.
