Despite my obvious skepticism, I agree there is a high probability of the ASX reaching 10,000 (or thereabouts) sometime in the next decade as markets have a natural tendency to grow organically over time; a fact evidenced by the long term chart.
The challenge ahead lies in trying to catch the next wave of 'explosive' growth that ultimately propels the ASX out of it's current, long period of sideways movement. For me, HML is an attractive option because of their aggressive investment strategy and global focus.
