Luckily I’m in at 81.5 so I’m happy with that. Based on SP performance I’d imagine there’s more people keen to sell than buy, FPC buying back gives some support but ultimately they’ll need to outperform if they want to, 1 justify the fees & 2 trade close to NTA. I’d be happy if they went a bit to cash rather than being leveraged & obviously would like them to reduce fees as ETFs low fees are understandably killing underperforming high fee LICs. I like that they are so diverse in industries regions & MC size, and very open with there insights & reasoning. But most of all I like a 25%ish discount on good quality equities. There are, like this one, a number of LICs that seem like absolute bargains atm, labour’s franking credits scare ETFs popularity & a lot of underperformers not justifying there high fees saw prices come off in line with the market late last year, but not really keeping up with its rebound. (WGB-probably Australia’s most well regarded managers- was 1.90 for 2.28? Whoever sold me those, thank you) Unless the market falls over I’d suggest that the bigger the SP/NTA gap gets, the more we buy.
