I think you are wanting a bit too much myself

L1 long/short fund had three great years up 60% 30% and 30% in 2015/16 and 2017
last year (2018) they were down 26.6%, the fund is still a fairly new fund

So LSF was created and listed at an unfortunate time as things would have it, L1 capital
had a bad year....but hey..they wernt Robinson Caruso...lots of good fund managers had
a bad year in 2018...it was a very volitile year, it was the year of the tweet, up a few
percent one day and down the next, no fund with over a billion in assets could be
as nimble to get in and out in such markets...also as they stated from day one..
The strategy of LSF is to be long value stocks and short growth stocks....it didnt work.. simple

They have stuck with this strategy and it is coming around now...as I said before, I think
we are very close to this strategy paying off...we may even be there now IMO

No one gets the markets correct all the time, we were recently given a chance to buy
into LSF at a huge discount, that was not entirely the fault of L1 that was the sellers
losing patience and faith...those who run L1 could see this opportunity themselves
and are/have taken advantage of it personally themselves....smart

If this rotation from growth to value keeps progressing and bond yeilds
stay where they are, I think 2020 might be a good year to have your dollars in LSF
whether the market in general is up, down or stable
