Bit of a mistake lumping all LIC's in one basket. Have a look at the performance of MFF, has gone from $2.64 to $3.83 in the last year, a 45% gain. It is at a slight premium to NTA at the moment due to a 20c special dividend, but is normally priced just below NTA.
Would never buy at IPO, but the discount in this has tempted me to start buying in.
