Yes agree most LIC's have performed poorly and apart from MFF which I bought for overseas exposure, I have never before bought any. However I got tempted by the discounts to the NTA's and bought into LSF and SEC. We'll see how it works out over the next few years but I would think value investing will at some stage make a comeback and if they outperform for a period may get the double effect of increasing NTA and less of a discount to NTA.
