    This might be all you need to know when looking at the NAV performance of LSF in recent months.

    So remembering we are looking at a long-short fund, primarily long value and short growth (= momentum in this diagram), then it is easy to see how LSF would struggle. For the record, LSF's NAV has declined by 7.7% over this period.

    The Share Price performance is something else of course, and I'll be looking at them soon to make some sort of announcement of a buy back or similar to allow us to redeem at nearer NAV.

    What we really need is a "risk-off" moment when everyone piles out of high p/e stocks and into safer low-growth stocks. It will happen one day, I just can't predict when.
