Agree with you there, sloanrunnner. As I've said before, many (most?) fund manages are simply incapable of admitting they've stuffed up. They just can't do it! It's hard wired in. If things go well it's because of their ability as stock pickers, when things go bad it's always the fault of something or someone else. Just like politicians, when things are rosy it's because they're 'great economic managers', when it's going down the plug hole it's due to overseas events or what the other side did in government five years ago. Unfortunately the thing that fundies and pollies are really good at is getting us to believe their spiel!
