I reckon the NTA announcement released tomorrow (Wed) morning will have the pre-tax NTA in the $1.60s (NTA as at the end of Friday, June 12 - when the ASX fell nearly 2%).
However, the Dow futures indicate a strong day in the US, and therefore will provide a strong lead-in for us tomorrow, which means the LSF price is likely to increase. Now that is one way to decrease the gap between the share price and the NTA!
Also, as discussed on this thread by some of us today, I wonder whether L1 undertook a buy-back today, and by extension whether they will undertake a buy-back tomorrow.
For reasons outlined above, tomorrow will be an interesting day. Does the share price follow the NTA (and fall), or does it follow the general trend in the market and go in the opposite direction to the NTA, and begin to narrow the discount. Can't wait to see what happens.
