Was aware of the buyback due to announcements but was not aware that there was any consideration being given to a reduction in fees. Must have missed that in my readings. I do not have a lot of faith in the buybacks as a means of reducing a discount to the NTA. The market seems to pay little heed to this methodology. I have LICs where buybacks have been occurring for more than 2 years on a daily basis and little has been gained in reducing the discount to NTA. More notice is taken with increases in dividend or large increases in NTA. Broker advice on KKC was that it would be a steady low risk income source without untoward capital losses.
