For anyone still interested (I appreciate there are very few!) since Lion received their Merdeka shares, in Australian dollar terms their investment is up close to A$5m. In the recent February NTA the investment is valued at A$27m. As I type the value is closer to A$31.3m. In Indonesian terms the share price is up about 24% since the deal was announced back in late January.
Of course from here the net returns will be on a sliding scale. Still its an encouraging start.
