@fitfunfusion. Yes I do. I understand that WAR and possibly Geoff Wilson personally holds GC1 altho I couldn’t confirm that. It’s a frustrating holding and I topped up some time ago as the disc to NTA was so compelling, but it hasn’t moved. The last major accretive transaction I made was to sell GC1 shares at near .92 and take up the options at 75c ? I did write to Michael Glennon a short time ago congratulating him on the major holdings and of the portfolio holdings in general and how innovative and (some of them) how successful some were. My problem was that the monthly reports only “Cherry Picked” some of the top holdings and didn’t explain if stocks like JLG ((which has risen strongly) is still held. I suggested that he list the top 10 (or more) holdings, but I understand there were 9 listed last month. When he reports on stocks “reduced” in the monthly report, it doesn’t clarify if they had been truly reduced (and still held) or reduced as in disposed of. This makes it hard to have a watch list of GC1 holdings and to see their movements, not knowing if they are still in the portfolio or not.
Michael replied that he was trying to organise either roadshows or presentations to raise the profile and visibility of GC1 although I believe that has been the plan for quite some time now. A very frustrating holding that waxes and wanes, has potentially good stock picks, but never seems to be able to break that glass ceiling and rise to new highs.
