As far as humanly possible, what try to do is back my judgement and my process. There will always be those taking the other side of my trade, to meet their objectives.
I was not expecting or particularly well prepared for the May, 2023 SEC episode. In the unrelenting wave of selling in that last week or so of May, I went back to my basics and if a seller was wanting out at $1.70 something, I sure as hell would take what he had to sell. They were very, very large parcels which I decided to lighten at over $1.95 a little after that, releasing cash and locking in a profit.
All that was SH action, not fund action.
Now we have Fund action and fund positioning which I want to support and am well cashed up to do. As, I can see, are you.
There are no certainties in life just circumstances we all deal with in our own way.
