Meetings must continue to provide shareholders with a reasonable opportunity to participate. For example, shareholders in attendance must be able to speak and ask questions of management/the auditor and vote via a poll (either in real time or in advance of the meeting) using such technologies that allow for that opportunity. The previous relief measures were due to expire on 5 November, but have been extended for a further 6 months so that they expire on 21 March 2021.
